| July | Home...mostly sitting in front of the computer, but a couple of days out photographing black-fronted terns at the Waitangi Wetlands. Also a day at Lake Rotorua. | |
| August | Couple of days out - Otaki Sewage ponds and Waikanae wetlands, Wanganui pelagic trip, and day at the Manawatu Estuary - all with the NEW Canon 800mm lens! Then time in the UK on the Scilly Isles and attending the British Birdwatching Fair representing Wrybill Birding Tours, NZ | |
| September | Around home birding and taking photos for the first half of the month, then back to French Polynesia, Pitcairn, and Easter Island during a Noble Caledonia cruise aboard the MV Clipper Odyssey. | |
| October | Time on Easter Island before flying home. Then a NZ storm-petrel catching trip in the Hauraki Gulf, and more time at home. | |
